When you mosturise your skin does it matter if the lotion is perfumed or not?

Some people are telling me perfumed lotion irratates the skin and is actually bad for it, and that lotions like Curel which are non-perfumed are the only things you should use. I mosturise (probably didn't spell that right) with perfumed all the time and haven't noticed anything. When you mosturise your skin does it matter if the lotion is perfumed or not?
Depends on your skin. I personally don't like the perfumed lotion no matter what it is.

I use Avon's Moisture Therapy and Aveeno.

CVS and Target have their brand of Aveeno that is non-sented and they work well too. When you mosturise your skin does it matter if the lotion is perfumed or not?
Use an unscented moisturizer first like Avon's Moisture Therapy, Keri, or Curel then follow with your scented cream. Scented lotions rarely moisturize they actually dry your skin beccause they have alcohol
some people can use anything without having any toubles, it just depends on your skin.

i have sensitive skin so i use skin balancing oil free moisturiser
perfumed lotions just dont moisturize as much.. because perfume is drying..that why they say not to spray it in hair and stuff..but it wont hurt skin just isnt as good..so on dry spots use something else
ALL LOTIONS WILL MOISTURIZE .......BUT PERFUMED LOTIONS ARE MORE DRYING......THE BEST TIME TO MOISTURIZE IS WITHIN 3 MINUTES AFTER SHOWER/BATH....UR SKIN ABSORBS THE MOST MOISTURE THEN..............
