Watch for the type of lotion you need. If you are in cold climate, you need to protect from cold, using more silicone and lanolin. If it is hot weather you need the light moisturizing type that has the spf factor higher. Heavy emollients will make you sweat below the lotion and it is very uncomfortable.
You can get unscented gel, lotion and then only your favorite cologne will be detected. be careful not to mix scents or as the saying goes- you'll 'smell like a French Ho-house'
Since I don't know exactly were you reside you might try the national chain Victoria's secret and try their fragrances. They have a broad variety to offer and come with many reccommendations.
