Is any one else allergic to perfume/cologne/candles/lotion/airfreshn鈥?deturgent/soap...im allergic to all...the laudry i can only use tide and soap i can only use lever2000Is any one else allergic to perfume/cologne/candles/lotion鈥?deturgent/soap???
I am allergic to all those things. I have to use an unsented washing det. and I can only use dial soap. I was once in the hospital for 3 days for using Neat on my legs. Its much easier now that I don't work At events and church I always try to set were no one can set by me. My husband will set on one side. If I'm making a trip with other ladies I have to request that they don't wear perfume. If they do anyway I get a severe headache and start throwing up. Now I don't go out alot that why I can answer questions on puters lolIs any one else allergic to perfume/cologne/candles/lotion鈥?deturgent/soap???
ME too. But I can't use even Dove soap. I have to use Caress. Still smells good though. I take Claritin when I wear perfume. That helps. lol Report Abuse

You can only use lever2000? I'm so allergic to that that I once worked with a guy and would go into sneezing fits if he walked into my cube.

I have allergies as well. I only buy perfume free detergents and fabric softeners anymore.
Yes!!! It is a pain to have to deal with it in the work setting. There sure are a lot of people out there who think they need to be smelled from a block away.

I'm OK with Tide as well. Have you ever tried Dove soap?
Yes. It is typical to have strong chemical sensitivities if the body has an over growth of candida. If not candida, then weakened immune system function. Treat all of your allergies and this can improve! Get the book: ';Is this your child?'; by Doris Rapp, MD By the way you are best off to go for more natural brands of toiletries. THere are unhealthy chemicals in Tide and likely to be in Lever 2000 as well.
Yes,Its called Multiple Chemical Sensitivity or MCS,your bodies immune system has reached its limit, and is reacting to the chemical components,in various perfume formulations. You need to avoid all commercial soaps and lotions, and get your products from a health food store, look for fragrance free products such as Magic botanicals in health food stores.Tide free and clear,or a laundry detergent based on coconut or soy soap like ecover, from a health food store.or from www.allergygrocer.com.

If you start feeling really bad you might consider purchasing a charcoal mask to filter out any odors you react to.
I can only use Dove soap, gain, and clinique makeup amd skin products.
Perfume is poison. I've listed a great message board as well as a page that lists some of the shocking ingredients that are in scented products.

I too get severly ill when exposed to these things, also my brother and son have problems with products and chemicals. My grandmother did as well. By the way, Bran is my daughter......it's genetic.
