What can be done for a person with severe allergic reaction to perfume, body spray, hand lotion & scents?

I know a girl who get's severly laid low for days if she happens to be in the presence of a person who has any kind of fragrance on their body (which is practically everyone).

It's affecting her to where she cannot work or go to her church and has become a real problem (her prob is real, not imagined).

Has anyone had this problem and knows of a medical remedy either conventional or homeopathic?

Please only serious answers and from knowledge or experience.

Thank you! What can be done for a person with severe allergic reaction to perfume, body spray, hand lotion %26amp; scents?
I feel your pain. I have a 15 year old son with the same problems. He has been like this forever. I have taken him to doctor after doctor and they just use him to expiriment givning nose sprays, pills, etc. I finally started giving him over the counter Claritin and sudafed (which I hate to do everyday) which seems to help a little, but still does not prevent or cure the problem. He also gets severe migraines about 2 - 3 times a week. I hate to say it but my experiences with doctors does not leave me with much faith in them. Because of my son's problems he has been unable to do things he may have done without the allergy symptoms. Good Luck! What can be done for a person with severe allergic reaction to perfume, body spray, hand lotion %26amp; scents?
Er- don't masks help?

The little paper ones like the Japanese wear when they have a cold.

She should go to a doctor.

And she should move to Japan- hardly anyone uses strong scents there.

Seriously, check if the allergy is physical or psychological.

If the second, she is the one to cure herself.

If the first, she needs either clinical attention or, I was only half-joking about Japan, a major change of environment and lifestyle.
Homeopathic medicine has been shown in studies to be ineffective over and over again. The higher quality the study, the more likely the results will show that it is nothing more than a placebo effect.

The science behind it has been shown to be false conclusively since the discovery of atoms in science.

The Homeopathic community has since adopted common techniques used in fields of pseudoscience: misapplication of real science, rejection of scientific standards, claims of suppression, large gaps between the conclusion and evidence, and focusing on the fringes while ignore settled issues in science.

Look elsewhere for help on this issue. Homeopathy won't help you beyond the forer effect, the placebo effect, and the return to medium bias. Good luck.
she should consult a doctor. maybe she has something on her nose. it could be serious.
