What would you do i you used a perfume lotion and your spouse said they did not like it.?

my friend gave me elizabeth Taylor White diamond lotion because she did not use lotion. my husband told me it stink and he does not like. what should i do?What would you do i you used a perfume lotion and your spouse said they did not like it.?

you stop using it BECAUSE he doesn't like it. who are you trying to please yourself? someone else? or him? as someone else stated, marriage is about compromise, and this would be a compromise on your part. there are many colognes that I like that my wife can't stand, so I don't wear those, because I respect how she feels, and I did marry her. if I persisted in wearing something she didn't care for or flat-out didn't like, it would be like an emotional slap in the face. stop being selfish and think about your spouse.
Because HE is YOUR husband and does NOT like the smell! That is why you should stop using it.


Furthermore.... investigate your attitude toward him, I think THE lotion is just an excuse for YOU to be angry...





Why are you NOT willing to throw away the lotion? Is HE a bad husband? Is this a way of getting even? or Are YOU a spoiled kid who always pushes to get your own way?
Use it when your husband is not with you. You should not use it around your husband because it would respect his opinion and if you make love don't you want your husband to be attracted to you.





WHy are you being so stubborn about it. A little thing like not using that perfume around your husband can avoid problems.
There is a thing called give and take in a relationship. I am sure that he refrains from doing things that you don't like. I think this is such a small matter in the grand scheme of things that it's irrelevant. If you really love the way that this lotion smells, then try to use it when he is not around.
As much as I would like for my husband to like the perfume that I am wearing...I would still wear it if I LIKED IT.....I just wouldn't wear it very often....








LOL....Wonder how this argument will work for women he don't like their husbands/bf watching porn.....I doubt that many of you would just say to the husband ';stop watching porn if your wife doesn't LIKE IT';.....
Why did you even bother asking if you already knew what you wanted to do?? Anyway, I would stop wearing it. I want my husband to be close to me, and if doesn't like the way I smell, he may be less likely to snuggle. =) Besides, I want to wear something that I like and pleases him. ;)
Don't read too much into it, just try not to wear it when he is around. Or, if you like it that much, wear it and don't worry about what he thinks. Just don't say anything if he doesn't come near you when you have it on.
What I did when my husband didn't like the smell of something, I would only wear it on days I had to work so by the time I got home you couldn't really tell that I had it on. On days where we both had off I would wear something else. Best of luck!!
Let him know that his feelings don't matter to you and keep wearing it! ! ! !

I'd wear it anyway. Men aren't the best judges of perfume anyway. Tell him to pick out one he likes for you if it matters that much to him.
Change the lotion and use something else. Remember he's the one who will be honest. The next person might not be that honest. So just put it away or give it to someone else and ask his opinion on a lotion. lol

If my husband didn't like the way something smelled on me, I wouldn't wear it -- he's the one who I want to think I smell good!
you don't HAVE to stop using it, its his prefrence that's all. If my husband had on some stinking colonge, I would tell him :-)
I Dont like how that stuff smells either. Maybe hes doing you a favor with the heads up.
