What can be done for a person with severe allergic reaction to perfume, body spray, hand lotion & scents?
I know a girl who get's severly laid low for days if she happens to be in the presence of a person who has any kind of fragrance on their body (which is practically everyone).
It's affecting her to where she cannot work or go to her church and has become a real problem (her prob is real, not imagined).
Has anyone had this problem and knows of a medical remedy either conventional or homeopathic?
Please only serious answers and from knowledge or experience.
Thank you! What can be done for a person with severe allergic reaction to perfume, body spray, hand lotion %26amp; scents?
I feel your pain. I have a 15 year old son with the same problems. He has been like this forever. I have taken him to doctor after doctor and they just use him to expiriment givning nose sprays, pills, etc. I finally started giving him over the counter Claritin and sudafed (which I hate to do everyday) which seems to help a little, but still does not prevent or cure the problem. He also gets severe migraines about 2 - 3 times a week. I hate to say it but my experiences with doctors does not leave me with much faith in them. Because of my son's problems he has been unable to do things he may have done without the allergy symptoms. Good Luck! What can be done for a person with severe allergic reaction to perfume, body spray, hand lotion %26amp; scents?
Er- don't masks help?
The little paper ones like the Japanese wear when they have a cold.
She should go to a doctor.
And she should move to Japan- hardly anyone uses strong scents there.
Seriously, check if the allergy is physical or psychological.
If the second, she is the one to cure herself.
If the first, she needs either clinical attention or, I was only half-joking about Japan, a major change of environment and lifestyle.
Homeopathic medicine has been shown in studies to be ineffective over and over again. The higher quality the study, the more likely the results will show that it is nothing more than a placebo effect.
The science behind it has been shown to be false conclusively since the discovery of atoms in science.
The Homeopathic community has since adopted common techniques used in fields of pseudoscience: misapplication of real science, rejection of scientific standards, claims of suppression, large gaps between the conclusion and evidence, and focusing on the fringes while ignore settled issues in science.
Look elsewhere for help on this issue. Homeopathy won't help you beyond the forer effect, the placebo effect, and the return to medium bias. Good luck.
she should consult a doctor. maybe she has something on her nose. it could be serious.ms stress

Lotion with spf but the scent doesn't go with perfume. Can I use it at night and still....?
have the spf benefits? It's the vaseline aloe fresh body lotion with spf. I shower at night anyway. By they next morning the smell will probably have worn off so I can wear my perfume and the smells don't mix. The reason I want a little spf is cause sometimes we have pe outside and I burn easily. Just want to keep my skin healthy. =)Lotion with spf but the scent doesn't go with perfume. Can I use it at night and still....?

Perfume, Great Smelling Hair, or Lotion, which do guys prefer?
I LOVE to wear perfume, but great having great smelling hair or wearing a scented lotion is eh for me. however, some boys like perfume and some prefer a girl with great smelling hair.....should i do a combination of all three or will that kill them lol?
other question

It would certainly kill me if I can't recognize what I'm smelling because of the mixture. I love a light perfume smell on a girl...the kind that you have to get a little closer to recognise the smell....for example London from Burberry...delicate and classy.Perfume, Great Smelling Hair, or Lotion, which do guys prefer?
you dont have to do all three. its no good if i can smell you across the room but i cant tell whether or not its you that smells good lol. i think itd be best if u did lotion and hair. that way u know ur skin/ur hair both smell good, and u have that extra confidence when u and guy get close to each other.
Since I'm a guy, I like girls that wear perfume but not a lot of it. And nice smelling hair I like the most. Lotion doesn't matter to me unless you have dry skin. Hope this answer helped!
Ahha i think that would over do it a little but you could wear your perfume and a suttle smelling lotion and make your hair smell nice (not overpowering) then you should smell just fine :)
Lotion most of the time, great smelling hair all the time, and perfume on speacial occasions
I like all the above but good hygiene is important hopefully not masking odor with these products
Just clean smelling hair and skin is best for me. Most perfumes make me want to sneeze. (And I sometimes wonder what smell is being hidden).
I'm not a dude, but I would say smelly good hair and a little bit of perfume OR lotion. Both might be overload.
I love the smell of a nice shampoo.
just put perfume in your hair and your body.....just leave the lotion out.
All of the above.
grate smelling hair

During Ramadan is it permissible to put on lotion or any type of perfume/body spray/deodorant? ?
Absolutely it is permissable to use perfume/lotion. you are not eating or drinking it. lol :)
Cleanliness is half of your deen.
[Quran 7:32] Say: Who hath forbidden the beautiful (gifts) of Allah, which He hath produced for His servants, and the things, clean and pure, (which He hath provided) for sustenance? Say: They are, in the life of this world, for those who believe, (and) purely for them on the Day of Judgment. Thus do We explain the Signs in detail for those who know.
The prophet said, ';who said that I have forbidden the best things of this world. Those being, milk, women, and perfume'; {Sahih Bhukhari}.
Plus, I'm sure your 2 angels that are with you everywhere you go, will appreciate your smelling lovely. :o))
Salaam! Ramadan Kareem!During Ramadan is it permissible to put on lotion or any type of perfume/body spray/deodorant? ?
Some women put on attractive luring perfumes on when they go to the mosque at night in Ramadan. This is not advisable. As for lotions, body spray, deodrant, there is no problem in their usage.
The Prophet (pbuh) said: ';Any woman who puts on perfume and then walks by people so they can get a whiff of her perfume is a wanton woman.'; Tirmidhi.During Ramadan is it permissible to put on lotion or any type of perfume/body spray/deodorant? ?
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Any woman who has put on bukhoor (incense, fragrance) should not attend this ‘Isha’ prayer with us.” (Reported by Muslim, 675)
I put on lotion and deodorant . I think it is allowed

Lotion and water = Perfume ... possibly?
Can you use this? (:Lotion and water = Perfume ... possibly?
No. If you do that it will leave this really gross filmy residue on your skinLotion and water = Perfume ... possibly?
stick to professial factory made perfume
In order to make perfume, they torture kittens in perfume factories to get the natural pheromones needed to manufacture the various scents. Think about that next time you want to smell nice for your date. I hope I helped you.
Not sure, if you were to put lotion in water it wouldn't fully mix in with the water. it would be blobby and stuff but idk! never hurts to try new things :]
No. Have you ever gotten wet whilst wearing lotion? It's greasy and runny.
