My daughter is 10 and my son is 12. My son has a condition that causes him to have severe abdominal pain when exposed to chemicals (Porphyria).
My daughter did purposely put the lotion on the CornNut but she seemed to feel bad when her brother got sick. I just don't get it, if she didn't mean to make him sick, then why would she do it in the first place? She is a very bright girl so it is hard for me to believe that she didn't see this coming

You did the right thing, you want to tell her what the consequences of her actions would be for her brother. Also drive the point home that it could have a terrible outcome. and she wouldn't like it if this was being done to her!!

Well she purposely did it but since she feels bad you can pat yourself on the back. She is not a sociopath. Often children really don't know the extent of their actions until they reap the consequences. Glad hes okay.

Can scented lotions and perfumes mix?
I have been dying for a bottle of Michael by Michael Kors - yum! It is heavenly smelling. However, I often put scented lotion on throughout the day. Up until now, I have never been a perfume wearer - I have preferred scented lotions from Bath and Body Works or Victoria's Secret. Can a scented lotion mix with a perfume? Or maybe I should invest in a really good unscented cream? Any ideas? This perfume lasts all day.Can scented lotions and perfumes mix?

If I go out after only applying a perfume's body lotion like J.lo's After Dark body lotion without applying the perfume itself, will the scent be apparent? i need suggestions on light perfumes, those that smell good without making people sneeze. Funny thing is, when my 8yr old son puts them on, he smells good, but when i do, people just sneeze, at work, church, wherever. I have about 6 bottles of expensive perfumes.
